MHCET EXAM REGISTRATION DATES ARE OUT

The Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra released the form for the MH-CET Law exam on 28th June 2021. It is the common entrance test for getting admission in law colleges offering a 5-year BA-LLB degree in the state of Maharashtra. The last date for registration for the examination is 12th July 2021. The conducting body for this exam is the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra.

The interested students can fill the form available at their official website mahacet.org. There are around 10,000 seats offered across the state for the 5-year BA LLB program. The exam dates are not declared yet. The exam will be an objective-type test conducted in online mode.

The eligibility criteria for 5- year BA-LLB program is that the student should have passed Class 12th from a school recognized by the board with at least 45% of the total marks in the case of general category candidates, 40% in the case of SC and ST candidates and 42% in case of VJNT, SBC and OBC category candidates.


The conducting body is expected to release the dates for registration for 3 -year LLB program soon. There are about 16,000 seats offered by universities across the state for this program. The eligibility criteria for 3 years LLB program is that the applicant should have a degree from a recognized college or university with 45% marks in the qualifying exam in the case of general category, 40% in case of SC and ST candidates, and 42% in case of VJNT, OBC and SBC candidates.
