Written By- Pretika Tiwari

One person was hurt when a bomb exploded inside a Patna court on Friday after being brought there as evidence, as per the NDTV reports. The explosives were in a box that one sub-inspector carried to court and placed it on the assistant prosecutor’s desk, where it went off, causing the incident. According to reports, the explosion was of minor intensity, and the police officer who took the bomb to court had arm injuries but was not in danger.

There was panic inside the courtroom when another box was found, and the bomb disposal unit stated that they would not be able to dispose it off; therefore, the second box was kept inside the courtroom for about two hours before the Anti-Terrorism squad arrived and diffused it. The Police are looking into the matter and investigating whether the bomb was diffused adequately before it was presented before the court.
