No candidate has been found eligible for District Judge cadre

The Rajasthan High Court has announced that, following the results of the written examination, no candidate has been found eligible for promotion to the District Judge cadre for the year 2024.
The examination was part of the ‘Limited Competitive Examination for Promotion to the Cadre of District Judge,’ which was announced on 9 July 2024.
Senior Civil Judges with at least five years of service were eligible to take part in the process.
According to the High Court’s notice, 99 Senior Civil Judges were eligible to appear for the exam, with a total of 45 available posts—16 vacancies for the year 2022-23, 4 for 2023-24, and 2 for 2024-25.
The preliminary exam took place on 24 November 2024, and 46 candidates were selected to sit for the written tests, which were conducted on 8 and 9 March 2025.
