Appointment of 8 judicial officers at the Allahabad HC

In the collegium meeting held on 2nd April 2025, the SC approved the elevation of the 8 judicial officers for the appointment of the Judges at the Allahabad HC.
It was a move in furtherance to the vacancies created at the HC.
The collegium was headed by Chief Justice of India, Sanjeev Khanna.
They are:

- Shri Abdul Shahid
- Shri Anil Kumar
- Shri Tej Pratap Tiwari
- Shri Sandeep Jain
- Shri Avnish Saxena
- Shri Madan Pal Singh
- Shri Harvir Singh
